I believe this is a painting I saw in Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport last summer. In a rush to catch a flight, I caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye. I found myself standing and staring at the painting for an incalculable amount of time while the rest of the world hurried by. Art should speak to us, and this painting instilled a sense of peace in an otherwise hectic place. I snapped a photo before I had to rush off, and I have carried the memory of that special moment with me as a reminder of how beauty is often found in the most unlikely of places. Thank you Mr. Lash for sharing your special talent and vision with the rest of us.
